Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify prescriptions with precision and attention to detail
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies to address questions or issues
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations
- Assist pharmacists with workflow tasks, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verification
- Provide excellent customer service through phone, chat, or email channels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification (CPhT) preferred
- Experience in a pharmacy setting (retail, hospital, or mail-order) is a plus
- Strong computer and remote communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, high accuracy, and ability to multitask
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated quiet home workspace
